List of the causes of split earlobes
EARLOBE SPLITIf earrings are pulled accidentally through the piercing hole causing acute trauma, it can spite the earlobe.
If someone wears heavy earrings regularly it can lengthen piercing hole and can cause it to pull through the piercing specially if the earlobe skin is thin. If the ears are not pierced and clip-on earrings are too tight it can restrict blood flow to the earlobe which can cause necrosis and that sometimes can causing a split earlobe. Widened ear piercing holes are also known as partially split earlobes, most of the times it is caused by wearing heavy earrings Sometimes ear piercings are purposefully stretched to accommodate certain ear wears. |
